17th Annual GIS Day @ KU
Wednesday, November 14, 2018
Kansas Union 4th Floor, Alderson Auditorium
GIS Day @ KU is part of a nationwide event to promote awareness of geographic information systems (GIS), and how we use this evolving tool to analyze our world. We continue our tradition of bringing together a community of GIS users from academia, business and government. GIS Day will include talks, a student poster competition, and an information fair with vendors from academia and local business that will run throughout the day. GIS Day @ KU is FREE and open to the public. Participants can come for all or any part of the symposium.
Talks will be in Alderson Auditorium on the 4th Floor of the Kansas Union. This year the student competition will be a discussion poster. Students will briefly present their methods beginning at 1:00pm, and posters will be available for viewing all day, adjacent to the Information and Job Fair (along the Jayhawk Walk, 4th Floor). |
